Other Details to Note
PET FEE: $50/night/pet (minimum $150 per stay) SOME NOTES ABOUT THE MOUNTAINS: - This is the mountains and cell service may be spotty - There may be some twisty roads - This is in the forests and mountains and you will likely see bugs, mice, or furry critters (including bears!). We do maintain the property with regular pest control, but due to the surroundings, or if doors are left open, or food is left outside the house, this can attract critters. - There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. Storms can also make roads impassable, so if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, come prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc. - PLEASE NOTE: Fall/Winter is ladybug season in the Smokies and these little buggers are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabin and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes. - The cabin has city water, but can still sometimes have a minor smell or tint. This is normal. The water is drinkable. - Cell phone service is very spotty in the area, so download the maps offline before arriving. The community pool is run by a 3rd party and we have no control over closures, etc. that may occur. No refunds will be issued for closures of these amenities. Fireplace is electric powered and is typically shut off between March/April and October/November. Note: This is the mountains and WiFi and cell phone service can sometimes be spotty and lose service. If the internet does go out, try resetting the router first. We highly recommend you download maps of the area offline prior to arriving.

- GPS may or may not be accurate (download the maps offline just in case you lose service), so follow the more detailed instructions sent out with your check-in information. - Like anyplace in the mountains, there may be twisty and steep roads and it is best if you can arrive by daylight, but easy to find if not. It's just always less intimidating during the day. - Roads are all paved. The short road immediately before the cabin is a bit steep, but nothing that any car can't handle. During winter if there is snow or ice, etc. a 4wd may be required.
